April Fools!

What does this look like? Grilled cheese? HA its actually cake filled with orange buttercream frosting. I bought pound cake and cut it like bread. I toasted it and while it was still warm I added the frosting and it melted a little making it look like cheese. My mom gave me this idea for april fools day! It turned out great!
This is a cake I made for Mitchell Lewis who is now an Eagle Scout! Congratulations! I got to use an edible print out on the cake. I had never done that before but found it was very easy. All I had to do was put it on the cake! simple as that. I also got to use a raspberry filling for the first time. It was different but also very easy. The tricky part was stacking the cake. As you can see it is huge! I was afraid the cake would break so I called in reinforcements. My younger brother Caleb helped me stack it and keep it together. Thank you so much Caleb! This cake was a lot of fun to make. I was very happy with it in the end. Again Congratulations Mitchell!

Giant cookie!

I learned how to make a giant cookie! This one was for a 5th grade girl who loves hearts and flowers. When I was asked to make a giant cookie I wasnt really sure how to make one. My family enjoyed the two practice cookies I made. I learned something new and had a great time creating it!

My first wedding cake

I had the privilege of helping Melody Martin with a wedding cake. I learned a ton from her and we had great time together.
